Children at Auberge Les Liards

At Auberge Les Liards, children are more than welcome. Les Liards is an old farm, with 9 hectares meadows and forest. So a lot of space. Far away from roads, in the middle of nature, an ideal place for children who love nature, animals and adventure.

For the smallest we have babycots, babybaths, bottlewarmer, babyphone, highchair and booster seats. Ask us. We can warm up your milkbottle or baby pots or we can cook baby food (organic).

Which activities?

First of all, we have many animals (see the animal page). This is our biggest attraction for children. And for the youngest, just see a dog or a cat, carressing it, will be already quite an adventure. So let alone to see a rabbit, a sheep, chicken or goat. The children can go and see the animals. However, one has to pay attention to the donkeys. They are very friendly but can bite. And they can get afraid by unexpected movements. So please do not let your children go there on their own.
We ask to respect the animals, not to harm or frighten them and not to run behind.

For the older children, just to have a lot of space, the nature around, and often the presence of other children are the major ingredients to enjoy themselves. The best compliment that we get is from parents that they were pushed by their children to come back early during the day because the children want to play at Les Liards.

There is a playground. And games in the inside for bad weather. For the tiny ones we can put up a little bath at the outside when it gets very hot weather.
